Easy to play and learn, this imaginative and colorful game will delight your children! Forest Quest is designed for 1, 2, 3, or 4 players. You can play against a real person or play against the computer. There are three difficulty levels to choose from. To play, users select a male or female playing piece ( or a computer screen if playing against the computer), and a color for their player. Game play begins with the roll of a die. Players move along the colorful forest themed gameboard answering interesting questions about forest animals, and collecting bonus items to help along the way. Bonus items to collect to help during game play include items such as a compass, berries, hammer and nails, carrots, boots, axe or insect repellant. Questions are written on the game screen. Users are given three possible answer choices. Pick the correct answer to advance your player. Collect snapshots of seven different animals and rush to the finish line! great app - and a lot of fun for a grown up too. so nice to be able to play with my daughter in a game like this.... my daughter has autism and the graphics, music, really everything really are holding her interest so big plus there. Just a fun educational app that you can share
We Discover Wildlife: Forest Quest is wonderfully illustrated and animated learning game that is fun for the entire family! The app is designed like a board game that comes to life on the iPad, and can be played alone, but is ideal for families, parties, or school groups. This app focuses on animals, trees, and plants of the forest. Children and adults choose the color and gender of their avatar, roll a virtual die, and land on a space on the board. They may need to answer a question, or come across a surprise! Many questions have an accompanying graphic, and there are three possible answers. In their journey through the forest, players will earn bonus items that they may need to make it to the finish line, come across obstacles, and take 7 photographs of forest animals. They may also come across short-cuts, of they have the needed bonus items, as well other surprises. The first player to get all 7 photos and make it to the finish line wins, with quite a bit of fun fanfare! The app can be played as one player vs. the computer, or a 2, 3, or 4 player game. It could also be used in larger groups using teams. In addition, there are 3 difficulty levels, which can be different for each player, which is helpful when you have kids of different ability levels playing together. The app supports multiple languages as well. Younger kids can play with a bit of reading assistance, and adults will enjoy playing with them. I recommend it! There are no ads or IAPs, and all external links are secured.
This game can be used for family time and for small groups in speech therapy. I love that it helps to expand knowledge in a fun way and that you can set different levels of questions for each participant.
